Nneka recently played a concert in Kampala. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make it, but the buzz after the concert compelled me to check her out. Her strong, soulful voice is worth a listen.

My younger brother played this in the car on the way to Big Bear for a family ski trip. It was my anthem on the slopes today. I crushed a few double black diamonds that I wouldn’t have tried otherwise.

Another song I love hearing when I go out in Kampala. It’s neither Ugandan nor Coldplay, but the vibes still work perfectly here.

I absolutely love this track: breezy piano, hard bass and real lyrics.
